Strategy is a system of finding, formulating, and developing a doctrine that ensures long-term success. It is a pattern in a stream of daily decisions and requires the sense of not just choosing what to do but also what not to do. In strategy, it is essential to see distant outcomes as if they were close from a development perspective while at the same time taking a distanced view from an investment perspective. Strategy without tactics is the slowest route to victory and tactics without strategy is the noise before defeat.
