Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR)

The world’s oil and gas resources are being depleted at an ever-increasing rate due to emerging economies demanding their piece of the energy pie.  With over 300 years of combined experience within our core team of oil & gas managers, we understand the issues and challenges in recovering hydrocarbons left in mature oilfields.  Our Reservoir Optimization Team (ROT) is comprised of the following oil and gas specialists:

  • Geoscientists
  • Seasoned Geologists
  • Reservoir Engineers
  • Formation Stimulation Technicians
  • Chemical Engineers
  • Open-Hole Logging Engineers; and
  • Underbalanced Down-hole Specialists

Contrary to our industry peers, NAEG believes the future of Oil & Gas envisages a global effort to not just develop new oil & gas resources such as shale resources, but actually focus on re-entry and enhancement of existing fields that were either developed prematurely in the sense of (i) lack of technology (ii) lack of knowledge (iii) lack of creativity and (iv) lack of developers’ ability to “think out of the box.” With the introduction of various enhancement techniques and technologies, our development team based out of New York has exhibited case studies and examples that have shaped our methodology and conceptual thought process with respect to viable, ethical and environmentally responsible results that can be achieved when an experienced team is managing such programs.  Therefore, we do not expend our efforts and financial capabilities on development of new oil & gas properties or participate in a syndicated fashion along our investment peers when it comes to new development.  In accordance with our global mission and development partner’s philosophy, we only pursue oil & gas development and production projects when it relates to enhancement of existing properties, whereby the existing resources from an “Already Developed” property can be produced using new available technologies, and use the income resulting from such development and production to fund sustainable growth and renewable energy systems in accordance with future standards.

Upon assessment of an Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) project plan and its capitalization needs, our specialized project team formulates the best re-entry strategy using a combination of different EOR technologies proven for reservoir optimization combined with an internal financing structure for complete financial and development control of the project.
